VRC-4622
is the successor of RT-3600. In 1984 it was issued in the Dutch
army. Due to needs, different parts can be combined to form different radios. There is a 50 kHz and a 25 kHz version.
The radio set here is the 25 kHz version.
The museum shows: RT-4600 (Transceiver) with built- in booster and
AF-4620, "Loudspeaker Control Box"- changing 24V to 12V for the transceiver, has a NF- amplifier and several
protections, e.g. a transient protection.
RT-4600 and AF-4620 together form
VRC-4622, as shown in the picture.
