HF BLU
was built in France by L.M.T (Le Materiel Télefonique).
HF BLU is a HF radio station, used in France by the army; and by the police as emergency radio.

Depending on the arranging of the components and accessories,
(for example the ER-243A as portable version needs a battery, antenna and carrying frame)-
There are the following versions:
a 20W portable station (with battery or hand crank),
a 20W mobile station (supplied by the car battery)
a 100W mobile station (supplied by the car battery)
a 100W semi- fixed station (supplied by a PSU).
All the stations have the modes AM, SSB, or CW. The frequencies are chosen by decade switches.
After changing the frequency, the ATU needs a tuning time of 20 seconds.
