  UF-1

is an " Ultra-High Frequency Transceiver " with three tubes, built 1942 by Jefferson-Travis (USA), We could not find out if the radio was used in its originating country.

The military sign (see picture gallery) shows that the museum radio was used in Graet Britain.

It is a portable radio in a watertight canvas carrying bag. It has only a handle, and is no backpack.

It could be operated with three batteries or with a vibrator power supply, like the museum radio.

The antenna is collapsible, the antenna tuning chart can be seen when the lid of the canvas bag is opened for operation.

There are only three operational elements: Loudness / On-off; Frequency knob, switch send / receive.
