RT-4600

is a Dutch tactical backpack; the successor of backpack RT-3600.
It consists of Transceiver RT-4600, battery holder, portable frame, handset, and short and long antenna. It was introduced into the Dutch Army in 1984.

The transceiver RT-4600 of the set comes either in olive color or in olive with a black front. (The radio of the collection).

Two variants are known: one with 50 kHz and one with 25 kHz channel spacing. The backpack version as well as the mobile version ( see VRC-4622) of the collection are the 25 kHz variant.
