KPRC-6
is a Korean handy radio, also called Korean Banana. It was developed from the
circuit of PRR-9 / PRT-4. Here transmitter and receiver use the same crystal, so the radio has two
channels. Optically the relationship with PRR-9 is obvious: Open battery case; holes have the same
form as PRR-9;
Volume / Squelch- knob has same form and function as in PRR-9. Type- plate in case of the museum's radio:
PRC-6AK.
