ELT 10

is a beacon or ELT (Emergency Locator Transmitter) for civilian air traffic. It consists of a relatively large cell battery and the screwed on small transmitter.

It can be operated manually or automatically on impact.

With extended antenna it is used as portable beacon and switched on by hand (switch ON).

As part of a plane and with an external antenna it starts transmitting on impact (Switch ARM).

121.50 and 243.0 Mhz
