SEM-52 S
was the successor of the SEM-52 A in the German BW. It is a portable.
The battery description shows AA calls ore a special Lithium block, the battery compartment is similar to SEM52A.
The radio in my museum has rechargeable batteries in a screwed compartment, not mentioned in the handbook.
