AN/GRM-55
is a test set for PRC-25. It provides the radio with HF- and audio signals and measures signals
on the test points of the modules. Results are shown by:
green Light : ok or
red Light: bad.
Clips in the lid hold: three small spare bulbs and
three cables.
Numbers of the cables:
MX-4622/GRM-55 : One side to the tester, the other is a measuring tip.
CG-409G/U : Cable, both sides BNC. male.
CX8593/GRM-55 : Jumper cable to devide power from a source to test set as well as radio:
Thats is because AN/GRM-55 has no built in batteries.
Operating procedure is printed on flippable and removable aluminium plates. The plates are situated
on the front side of the test set; (see picture gallery).
