708 B
is a Chinese backpack, used by artillery and anti aircraft artillery to build up an integrated firing net.
By linking two radios you can form a repeater.
It can be used as a field telefone up to a range of 2 km, and it can be remotely controlled by wire within 2 km.
A simple morse key is built in.
The radio comes in four versions, i.e. four frequency ranges:
705 B : 36.0 ... 46.1 MHz
708 B : 28.0 ... 36.5 MHz
709 B : 21.5 ... 28.5 MHz
714 B : 20.0 ... 26.0 MHz
A close relationship between Russian and Chinese equipment can be seen: both use a kulikoff antenna, Russian and Chinese
antenna rods are exchangeable. The antenna foot for mobile use also looks alike.
